This is a weird one – the premise is that Will Arnett is a cop (Terry Seattle) who each episode is joined by a new celebrity trainee (playing themselves), and the celebrity trainee has to solve a murder. The celebrity guest has no script, so their entire part is improvised, while the other actors have to convey the clues so that the guest can solve the crime while Will Arnett mostly just tries to make the guest crack up. As with any improv it can be hit and miss, but the episodes with Kumail Nanjiani, Sharon Stone and Marshawn Lynch were pretty darn funny.
