Kate Winslet stars as a detective in a hardscrabble Pennsylvania town. She isn’t likeable and does things that are reprehensible, but this unflinching look at a woman trying to deal with family, her job, and her place in a small town while trying to solve a murder is compelling watching. The unique Delco accent is jarring at first.
