This show, set in the late 1970s, early 1980s, follows Elizabeth (Keri Russel) and Philip (Matthew Rhys) Jennings and their two kids, an ordinary family in the suburbs of DC. Except that Philip and Elizabeth are actually Soviet spies under deep cover. Thoughtfully written with strong acting and great female characters, this high quality drama is a fine exploration of US-Soviet relationships and values.
